Mechanism of Action
ANTIPYRINE
Antipyrine is thought to act primarily in the cns, increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting both isoforms of cyclooxygenase, cox-1, cox-2, and cox-3 enzymes involved in prostaglandin (pg) synthesis
